ArtAsiaPacific’s website is the online version of the English-language magazine that covers contemporary art from Asia, the Pacific, and the Middle East. The site is structured so that content flow is of primary importance. Clicking on the “Magazine” link takes readers directly to the first article, with “Next” and “Previous” buttons transport visitors directly to the next piece of content. It also features a colorful "Countries" section, which highlights the magazine's arts-specific statistics for each country.
This was the first website I designed while working with Linked by Air. Looking back on it today (in 2016), it looks dated and isn't particularly easy to read. But there are still some things I really like. I like how easy it is to get from one piece of content to another. (I've never actually read anything in full on this site, but as a web viewer, I think that's common. The next and previous buttons let you scan the magazine for its overall vibe.) And I still like looking at the animated flags in the "Countries" section.
